    Tyagaraja (1767–1847) is one of the greatest composers in the history of Indian classical music, revered as a saint and a musical genius in the Carnatic tradition.

    Born in Tiruvarur, Tamil Nadu, his full name was Kakarla Tyagabrahmam.
